Managing Your Account
Update profile details, secure your login, manage email preferences, and administer your team.
Profile & Basic Settings
Go to Account > Profile to update your name, organization, and time zone. Your profile info appears on downloadable reports and team areas where attribution matters.
- Name & Organization: Used on reports and team invites.
- Time Zone: Affects timestamps on reports and billing.
- Avatar (optional): Helpful for teammates reviewing reports.
Sign‑in & Security
Keep your account secure with a strong password and (if available) multi‑factor authentication (MFA).
Password
- Use a unique password that you don’t reuse elsewhere.
- Change it from Account > Security > Change Password.
Two‑Factor Authentication (MFA)
If your plan includes MFA, enable it under Account > Security > Two‑Factor with an authenticator app. Store recovery codes in a safe place.
Sessions & Devices
Review active sessions under Account > Security > Sessions. Sign out of devices you no longer use, especially shared machines.
Sign‑in Help & Recovery
Forgot Password
Use Forgot password on the sign‑in screen. We’ll email a secure link to reset your password. If you don’t see the email, check spam and verify you used the correct address.
Change Email
Update your login email from Account > Profile. We may require re‑authentication and a verification step to confirm ownership of the new address.
Email Preferences
Control which messages you receive from Account > Notifications.
- Product updates: Feature announcements and tips.
- Report notifications: Completed scans, scheduled reports, and important status alerts.
- Billing emails: Invoices, payment receipts, and plan changes (always on).
Team & Organization
Collaborate safely by inviting teammates and controlling access levels (if your plan includes teams).
Inviting Teammates
- Go to Organization > Members.
- Click Invite, enter the teammate’s email, and select a role.
- They’ll receive an email invite to join your organization.
Roles & Permissions
- Admin: Full access to billing, members, and settings.
- Editor: Can run reports and use EchoTune™.
- Viewer: Read‑only access to reports and dashboards.
Change a member’s role from Organization > Members at any time. Removing a member revokes access immediately.
Workspaces (optional)
If your account supports multiple workspaces, use them to separate brands or clients. Each workspace has its own settings, limits, and members.
Billing
Update payment method, download invoices, or change plans under Billing. See the full guide: Plans & Billing.
Data Export & Deletion
You can export your reports as PDFs from the Reports area. To request account deletion or data export beyond self‑service tools, contact us: privacy@geo-sync.io.

Troubleshooting
- Can’t sign in? Reset your password and verify you’re using the correct email.
- No reset email? Check spam and mail filters; wait a few minutes; try again.
- Invite not working? Ask an admin to resend or check if your domain blocks invites.
- Permission denied? Your role may not allow that action—ask an admin to adjust.
